Big Ears at East Lake
Roz and I enjoyed a pleasant visit to the surprisingly large Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve yesterday.
It was the first time we got to walk the two and a half mile East Lake perimeter walk.
I so enjoyed watching female Blackcap, couldn’t quite see a noisy Reed Warbler, but the Lapwing, Sand Martins and Swallows were there in quite good numbers.
Towards the end of our loop we got incredibly close to “Big Ears” this surprisingly confiding Field Mouse (also known as a wood mouse).
