Linton House – Greensand Ridge

Half way through my Yalding to Sutton Valence leg of the Greensand Way it was time for lunch.

I parked myself on a bench at the end of St.Nicholas churchyard, and enjoyed a windswept sandwich.

All along the footpath at St.Nicolas there was a series of “New Things” signs made in Messy Church.

A few hundred yards further on I came across this substantial house.

These days is serves as HQ for Camellia a multi-national agricultural business.

A few hundred yards further on I came across a family who “live next-door”. An electric gate opened and I caught a glimpse of another substantial property (with fabulous views).

Then I was out beyond the dawdlers and able to make good progress as I continued along the Greensand Ridge.
