Decent Descent – Greensand Way

Oh I do a love a good walk that goes downhill!
Once we turned our backs on Leith Hill Tower there was a slow descent, and 90 degree turn to the north.
The route wasn’t immediately clear, and often didn’t look like a path at all, but we were heading in the right direction with the Tilling Bourne out of sight on our right.
It was wonderful that we could walk without the hindrance of ankle deep mud, or the ankle deep water found at the kissing gates in Kent.
In just a few weeks these trees will once again start to come into leaf.
Last year’s autumnal fall is still very much in evidence.
