Greensand Way near Bayley’s Hill
What a contrast to last week when I was walking over snow covered hills, and watching toboggans at Ide Hill.
Saturday turned out better than the forecast, but the ground hasn’t had time to absorb all that precipitation.
Roz and I looked at the snowdrops outside Ide Hill church before heading west.
Every few moments somebody was coming towards with a dog, and it was all a bit “too busy” for my liking.
Once clear of the main car parks and Hanging Bank things improved. The fields opened up and pedestrians thinned out.
I forgot my binoculars, and spotted only 19 species across the entire 6 miles which ended up outside Knole Park, Sevenoaks.
