House Mouse
Yesterday after being cooped up inside all morning I decided it was time for a walk.
Being a dedicated workaholic I took my phone and made “business calls” on the hoof.
Just as I turned into our little cul-de-sac I spotted a peculiar blackish blob at my feet.
Stooping to try and examine this peculiar object it suddenly sprang to life and hid between the road-side rocks.
How exciting, it was an amiable House Mouse. Every winter they find a corner in our garage, often leaving the remnants of hazelnuts behind.
After seeing this dear little I came back indoors uplifted, and a with a sense of well being.
