My last photo from last Sunday’s Knepp Estate visit.

On the Saturday we didn’t see any deer at all, on Sunday they were everywhere.

The leader of this herd was jet black and after I’d taken a few photos he ran off, looped around and came charging straight towards us.

When he was perhaps 3 metres away he hopped off to our right and disappeared.

Muggins had a 400mm lens attached, and  missed all the up close action!

Doh!

  1. Beautiful! Isn’t that just typical when you are trying to photograph wild animals? That’s why I tend to stick the wildflower photography!
