Some days the pedals don’t seem to turn.
Yesterday’s cycle up to Coulsdon took 10 minutes longer than usual.
My return over Farthing Downs was only a minute quicker.
At least I got out and saw a few clouds, a Parakeet, and a Great Spotted Woodpecker.
The best days of bird sporting are over.
All the trees are now in leaf, and the vocal Blackcaps are harder to see.
The most prevalent species yesterday was Homo Sapiens, out in force here, there, and everywhere.
Mmmm – whatever Boris thinks it looks like lockdown is over.
