Greenwich Meridian Fail – GMT 3
Planned an 11 mile walk today.
Got lost early on, which meant many wasted miles and a sense of disappointment.
Plenty of mud today, but no rain.
At 8:30am the fields were still covered in frost.
After masses of effort I ended up midway between Chailey and Newick.
My problem? Lack of signs, and bad map reading.
Happy to be using my refurbished binoculars, the detail is superb.
