Britain’s best railway line?

The last train for Sheffield Park rumbles down the line, and the station staff are about to “shut up shop”.

Although I’ve walked the entire route its 40 odd years since I actually took a ride on the Bluebell Railway.

That’s not to say I don’t support them.

Many of my walk’s and cycle rides incorporate a visit somewhere along the line.

My favourite station is East Grinstead which features an opulent dining car, and exceedingly affordable coffee, and fabulous Eccles cakes.

This is Kingscote Station, and it’s time to go before we get locked in.
