Alien Invasion

After our jaunt through Worthlodge Forest we crossed the B2110 and followed the footpath around the edge of Worth School.
It’s quite a busy road, and on this the south side it’s a refuge for youngsters with very wealthy parents.
Parents pay between £5,320 to £11,230 per term to educate a child here. Goodness knows how they afford it if they happen to have a big family.
What do they get in return?
Lunch, nice grounds, historic buildings, a good education, and an Alien Space Ship (Catholic Church) where they might encounter God.
Now I’m all in favour of modern architecture, and I love the original buildings here.
I’m just not sure there’s a good fit between the old and the new.
What do you think?
I think I don’t agree with private education!
Seems to me the opportunity to learn should be equal for all – but bright kids shouldn’t need this much pampering!
