The last book I read about “grace” was rattling along quite nicely and BOOM, something big came at me half way through.

That was Philip Yancey’s, “What’s so amazing about grace?”

I’d say that’s a great book for believers.

This week I’ve been working away in Gloucestershire, and when I rolled at my room for the night I discovered I’d left my laptop at home.

So I was unable to write up my reports and go through my e.mails.

What to do?

Pull out this slim volume, “Grace Undone” by a friend of the family, and all round good guy Mathew Toller.

Here’s a few things you should know.

  1. You can buy it on Amazon.
  2. It starts with a bang, and will make you laugh.
  3. It’s short enough to read in an evening.
  4. It might turn your understanding of God upside down.

It’s so helpful that I’d rate alongside the Gideon Bible “Helps” section in terms of usefulness to anyone facing life’s doubts or difficulties.

Grace Undone will appeal to mature Christians, and could be invaluable to those who don’t yet know Jesus.

The best sermons are usually the brief, engaging, and easily understood.

By the same token I’d suggest the brevity of this book gives it power and impact.

It’s my favourite Christian Book since Red Moon Rising by Pete Greig and Dave Roberts.

Snowgood Rating: 10 out 10
