We hardly explored our neighbourhood after moving to West Sussex.

Now I can’t stop myself from getting out, and stretching my legs.

Last week I was walking on snow, this week it’s back to the default setting.

MUD!

What have you seen in “your backward” this week?

I’ve been spoilt.

A solitary Lapwing wheeling around near the Sussex Polo fields.

Two grey squirrels running for cover.

Five Roe Deer, one of them albino.

Two wallabies.

I was flabbergasted by the wallabies.

They’re behind a robust wire fence less than 400 yards from our front door.

My favourites have been the hard working Song Thrush on our front lawn, and a little Jenny Wren in the margins first thing this morning.
