I was up early this morning.

As the weather was so good I decided to explore.

My first delight was seeing the entire area of Millbrook submerged under thick cloud.

Up on the hilltops it was good enough for shorts and T-shirts, and not even the faintest chill in the air.

As I looked along the hedgerow I spotted scores of spider’s webs in the making.

Each being built from the outside towards the middle.

Virtually every one had a central spider sitting still.  A well earned break perhaps?

One was out of synch, laying a trail that filled in the gaps.

Surely breakfast would be along any minute?
