It’s ten months since I last went to the cinema.  On that occasion Roz and I watched Swallow and Amazons.

It featured boats and an aeroplane.

On Monday night I went with a friend to see “Dunkirk” which is a film about boats, planes and people.

Many of the people get wet.

Even some of the ones in the planes.

Much to my surprise I came away impressed.

The film follows characters, some waiting on the beach to escape, others on the waves who come to rescue the British Army, and the pilots seeking to provide air cover.

There’s not much dialogue, but there’s plenty to entertain.

Rating – 9 out of 10.
