Our route back headed under the railway line, and up a gentle incline in the woods just south of Offham Church.

I spotted this colourful specimen which Roz identified as a Potato Plant.

Other than that we’d also seen more beautiful flowers on the blackberries, Gatekeeper and Speckled Wood butterflies, and a few rabbits.

All in all we’d enjoyed a pleasant three mile walk, and picked up more ideas for future outings.
