On our recent walk from Devil’s Dyke to Offham we picked up three leaflets covering walks around the Ouse Valley.

They all looked good, so today we went back and to do a 3 mile loop. Our only difficulty today was parking.

Eventually we found a space outside Offham Church and headed up the A275 to Cooksbridge.  The leaflet put this stretch at the end, but we did the dull bit first.

Once we reached the level crossing at Cooksbridge we did a sharp right, a few hundred yards walking then an up and over the railway tracks.

Climbing over the style we came across a second field absolutely packed with broad beans.  It’s nice to see something other than cattle or cereal crops on a farm.
