Roz says this is her favourite photo from the 200 odd that I took on our “there and back” walk between Ditchling Beacon and Offham.

To watch this lady patiently wait for a few cyclist and pedestrians to clear, and then give her horse his head was a sheer delight.

Some of you may have your own special “fears” when out in the countryside.

I’m none to bothered by most things, but I’m always wary of horses, and I have no intention of being kicked by one.

In reality this rider and horse were way to smart to cause ramblers any concern.

Thanks for patiently wading through these last dozen or so posts.
