Trudging along at a much slower pace Roz and I eventually made it to the Mount Harry Beacon, before starting a steady descent towards Offham.

These braziers perched on top of enormous timbers were once used as a communication system.

More recently they’ve only be used to commemorate important events like the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee back in 2012.
