Heading towards Offham we soon started seeing various bird species.

Meadow Pipits are reasonably confiding, this one let me get close enough for a couple of good shots.

If you or I were flying would we necessarily choose to land on barbed wire?

Perhaps those barbs explain the Pipit’s Vertical Take Odd and Landing routine?
