Saturday Sunshine.

What to do?

Do what I’ve been putting off for weeks.

See if  I can still enjoy a “proper” bike ride.

Okay I’ve been on 3  bikes this year, buy my longest journey thus far had been less than 8 miles.

Today I made several discoveries.

  1. We effectively live on a plateau.
  2. I can pop over to Bough Beech on a whim.
  3. Ye ancient parts of Lingfield – truly wondrous.
  4. My legs still work (just about).

The sun was in the wrong quarter to show you the true glory of olden Lingfield, so here’s the 15th century church instead.

In a car it’s about 10  minutes from my home and I’ve never seen it.

That’s what I love about cycling.

I’m always making fresh discoveries.
