Once on the bike adventures begin.

I often have no idea where I’ll end up.

Today’s  idea was to reach the edge of “Crawley” as marked on my ancient OS map and then loop behind Gatwick Airport.

It didn’t happen.

I was about to cross the town when I saw a blue cycle path sign, and a “new” park.

Curiosity proved stronger than my flimsy objective.

Moments later I was enjoying the low winter sunlight and an apparent tunnel of trees.

If only there was a walker to give the camera a focal point.

Moments later an old couple (walking with a sense of purpose) came into view.

I fired off three quick shots.

They didn’t seem best pleased.

I hurried on.
