Our ride to Petworth went well.

No rain, no accidents, no bother.

We hoped to have lunch in Kirdford.

Nothing doing.

The pub we stopped in looked superb, but there war no sandwiches on offer.

We each enjoyed a coffee and bag of crisps, and then started pedalling.

A cheerful lady greeted us as we entered Tiffins.

The food and drink were first class, and Tom and I enjoyed a proper chat, rather than simply snatching a few words out on the road.

I particularly liked the salt and pepper pots here.

Each set was different.

Our table had a “set” of cows getting quite familiar!
