Today we decided to go for a walk around Bosham.

It’s probably over 2 years since my last visit, but it one of the prettiest spots in Chichester Harbour.

The tide was up, so we restricted to just under 5 miles before much.

I can recommend the Fullers pub on the way in (inn?).

Here’s the view from the quay, just as the tide has started to recede.

You know winter’s coming when the Brent Geese fill the skies.

Looking at them in amongst the Mallards I’d never appreciated just how small they are.

If weren’t for there slightly elongated necks they’d be the same size as the UKs most prolific duck.

We also saw several wonderful Curlew flying quite close to the shoreline.

A good day out!
