Having left the contents of a four carriage train to cram onto a two carriage service to Worthing we set forth on the last sprint home.
Heading eastwards I almost missed the delights of dusk.
We’d missed sunset, but Tom and I felt the last remnants of daylight merited a photo.
I enjoyed blitzing through the streets I know so well, whilst Tom gamely tagged on behind.
A day later there are no aches or pains – despite 110 miles of mixed cycling over my 3 day break.
