Shortly before dropping down into Amberley I watched this farmer on Rackham Banks.

Farms in UK are increasingly mechanised (see my last post), but I’m guessing there are few nations that are as productive as ours.

Of course if I could wind back the clock and see more hedges, more wildlife, and less pesticides. However as we are part of a global economy efficiencies have to be made.

This chap gave me a thumbs up as he went by, and I’m guessing he’d already worked a harder longer day than most city dwellers.
