The Sussex Prairie Garden is staffed by exceptionally hospitable people, and features this splendid tea room.

That’s it, the one behind all the flowers.

It was £7 a head. We also enjoyed watching a Migrant Hawker eating a butterfly on the wing!

Once the body was consumed the wings were discarded, and floated earthwards.

A first for me.

A last for the Comma butterfly in question!
