On Tuesday I went to The Isle of Man.

It’s a bit like Ireland, with over 85,000 residents and a magnificent coast line.

I loved it.

The locals take time to be friendly, and take their time when driving.

Mind you I faced a few challenges as I made my way around in a little rental car.

6th gear turned out to be “reverse”.

The Sat Nav was a quaint little map, with no key to the road names.

My phone charger didn’t supply any power.

The accelerator seemed incapable of providing much by way of forward propulsion.

I felt I was there learning some sort of lesson.

Maybe humility, or my lack of dependancy on the Alpha and the Omega.

  1. Been there a couple of times but not recently. I do remember the seafood being rather good.
