Trithemis Festiva – Dragonfly

Here’s one of the loveliest dragonflies seen at the Hong Kong Wetland Centre.

The Latin name Trithemis Festiva sounds grand, but “Blackberry Dragonfly” would be a more appropriate.

The correct English name is “Black Stream Glider”, although I didn’t see this glide in 30 minutes observation.

  1. You didn’t see him glide cause he had just came in for a landing.
