To have any chance of getting a good view of track we needed to move.

I decided to head for hills.

Or Guia Hill to be more precise.

Sam and I had both seen a blog which said it was possible to watch the racing whilst eating on a rooftop terrace.

We guessed it would be somewhere near the old fort, so we vacated our plastic seats and started walking.

Perhaps we should of guessed, but the racing had brought in no end of closed roads, paths, and the like.

Our walk was by no means straight forward.

At least we got to see the “sights”, and smell the “aromas” that Macau affords.

I was particularly taken but this scrap yard right in the centre of town.

No doubt every town has them, but this one’s an eyesore on a main road.
