On our trip to Arundel I spotted the following wild Bird Species;

Blue Tit, Moorhen, Coot, Water Rail, Kingfisher, Buzzard, Kestrel, Pergrine, Magpie, Crow, Jackdaw

Black Headed Gull, Little Egret, Mallard, Wigeon, Snipe, Chaffinch, Dunnock, Wood Pigeon, Collared Dove,

Pheasant, Cormorant, Blackbird, Grey Wagtail, Mute Swan, Canada Geese, Tufted Duck, Oyster Catcher

and Starling

but my favourite sighting was “Crack Willow” at the edge of the reserve.

The Autumn sun hangs much lower in the sky, and brings the branches to life.

Wonderful.
