In Grund we looked out on three donkeys as the train sat motionless.

When it eventually moved we were heading in the opposite direction, and climbing once again.

Strange?

It soon became apparent that our journey wasn’t on the same tracks, but running at a slight tangent towards Grindelwald.

Although it was out of season most of the shops were open.

Together we wandered up and down the main drag.

Roz was looking for clothes, as I tried to suss out the best restaurant.

My reconnaissance led me to an establishment with flames dancing around, but the menu that was encapsulated in plastic.

We moved on.

Soon we were tucked up inside the rather marvellous Kreus and Post restaurant.

Nice!
