To help you guess where we’ve been here’s a shot I took last Friday.

Whilst in this scenic European country I’ve been thinking back to my school days.

It’s not surprising as his picture was taken fairly near a major railway station a few hours north of our eventual destination.

Back in 1971 our one week school trip cost £51, and it included three meals a day and lodging in a cosy “pension”.

These days that would hardly get you off of these shores.

It sounds too good to be true, but it really happened.
