You know it’s Autumn when the mist hangs in the valley, and the leaves are conscpicuous by their absence.

Picture taken at Ridiculous O’Clock, after I’d been rudely awakened by the incessant church bells.

The new Pope has done so much to bring back confidence to the Catholic Church, but ringing bells for 15 minutes starting at 5:15am is not the best way to win converts.
