Today my first aim was to get our vacuum cleaner repaired.
The authorised repair centre was 45 minutes from here, and they came up trumps in under 2 hours.
After looking at furniture we enjoyed a good meal at “The Sportsman”.
I can recommend it.
Food and staff equally pleasant.
Then I decided to treat Roz to a walk around the lavender fields near Banstead.
To gain access we used The Oaks car park opposite, and had a wander.
It was only after our walk I discovered that whilst there’s free access on the footpath most punters pay £2.00 at the main entrance.
It’s now even more impressive than when I popped in with Tom a few weeks back.
Admittedly I would have got a better shot with a real camera, but hopefully you get the picture.
Koreans and bees simply love it here.
If we go on a coach tour of Tasmania the lavender farm there is on my ‘must’ list.
