off to Spa
It’s nearly 5 years since my last trip to an international race meeting.
My alarm is set, and I’ll be off at 5:30am to see two F1 refugees trying their to notch up a win in the SPA WEC 6 Hour Race.
322 miles each way, and the return leg is less than 24 hours after I arrive!
I took this picture after climbing up a tree, and I’ve only just noticed Jenson Button is staring straight at me.
The tall guy in front of the camera is Mark Webber, who’ll be trying to beat his 3rd place finish at Silverstone last time out, whilst the guy wearing sunglasses and waving is Nick Heidfeld.
Quick Nick is running in one of the new Rebellion chassis that has struggled to perform in practice.
