Here’s Elijah’s new room, there quite a bit of space in here.

After the obligatory break at Pizza Express, Roz and I walked back in to find Elijah awake again.

Nancy had her food, but got back ahead of us.

Elijah’s calm again now.  He even played with his coloured plastic cups before we arrived.

The nurses are patient, even when there were a couple of nappieless eruptions!

Now it’s Joe’s turn for a break, and we’re back in Caffe Nero whilst Nancy and Elijah both take a nap.

Joe said they’ve had a visit from one of the registrars who said he just wanted to call in and offer reassurance.

Many kids have been through this and come out the other side.

It wasn’t even a scheduled visit, just a personal touch.  reassurance just when it was needed.

Hopefully you can see Joe scrubs up well even after all the drama of the last few days.

  1. I’m very sad to hear the news about Elijah. I hope and pray that he will be stable again and gets better soon.
I wish you all the strenght to deal with this. A big hug from Holland.

  2. Psalm 5:11-12 Let all those rejoice who put their trust in You. Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them. Let those who love Your name be joyful in You.
For You, Lord, WILL bless the righteous with favour. You WILL surround them as with a shield.
