Here’s one I took earlier.

Buried in the hard drive of my now defunct Toshiba laptop were thousands of photos.

My computer savvy friend was able to fire it back into life, and resurrect my lost albums.

Pictures from Canada, Spain, Belgium, and Blighty.

Here’s a favourite from Nancy’s home church. Bethany Chapel, Calgary. It’s the last thing you see before leaving the building.

There’s only one thing wrong, it should be bright orange and “stickable”.  Or maybe that’s too nice, perhaps we need to “branded for Jesus”.  We might not fancy a red hot brand pressed against our flesh, but what does it take to wake up the dormant western church?

I think I just found “The Western Church Mission Statement”

“The king sent me on a mission and said to me, ‘No one is to know anything about the mission I am sending you on.”

1 Samuel 21:2

Somehow it seems more palatable than Matthew 28:19-20

  1. The mission field . . . we acknowledge it willingly, but sometimes we try to ignore our responsibility, preferring the comfort zone. We need to “step out of the boat”
