When Roz suggested we pay yet another visit to Wakehurst Place I hesitated.

The photographer in me would rather go early in the morning, or late in the afternoon.

That’s when the bluebells look best.

An hour after noon isn’t the best recipe for colour.

Nay bother.

We decided to explore the FREE PARKING option.

As National trust members we can get in free, but an anomaly means that one now has to pay Kew Gardens to park!

We will sign up soon, but on the day they wanted our bank details otherwise we get charged an extra £5.00 per annum.

So here’s Roz about 90 minutes after we started, and just 10 minutes away from entry.

Thanks to my Mac’s clever presets it looks quite pretty.

  1. so pretty there. lovely walk in the woods!

  2. The old saying of “blue and green together should never be seen” is soooooooo wrong! Blue and green are perfect together, which is *maybe* why God chose to colour the majority of our world in those colours.
