You’ll probably know this chap’s big cousin, the Puffin.
The Little Auk is noticeably smaller and usually lives on the Atalantic.
Seldom seen from the shore, and I’ve only seen two in my entire life.
But my friend Howard Liebermann gave me a call.
“Would you like to bring your camera in, we’ve just had a Little Auk handed in.”
Obviously it hasn’t upgraded it’s sat nab, the poor thing was found near Ogwell several miles inland.
This specimen was in good shape, and after a short period of care is likely to returned to the wild.
Howard at Kingsteignton Veterinary Group also cares for bunnies, cats, and dogs.

pretty little thing.
How cute … glad to hear it will return to the wilds….
